The Long Beach Football Club, (LBFC), is a not-for-profit youth Intramural and Travel soccer organization for players between the ages of 4 and 18 that wish to play recreational and/or competitive soccer. Long Beach FC is a 100% volunteer club run by parents from the local surrounding communities and we operate under an Executive Board and a Board of Directors.
Our travel teams participate in the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), New York Club Soccer League (NYCSL) and Just Say Soccer League (JSS). Competitions take place during both the fall and spring seasons and open tryouts are held in the late spring. All children are welcome to tryout! Please visit our website in the spring for more information on open tryouts. If there are available roster spots on our teams, we also hold individual tryouts throughout the season. So please reach out to us at any time if you are looking to join a team!
Our goal is to provide the children in our community the opportunity to participate and develop within an age appropriate, competitive travel soccer league. We strive to teach and demonstrate quality soccer skills, sportsmanship, honesty, respect, and fair play. We will strive to provide an atmosphere where the player’s emotional well-being is nurtured as they learn the importance of teamwork, communication, determination, persistence, commitment, and hard work.
Our Fall 2022 Girls Teams: Shark Frenzy and Manta Rays (2014), Tsunami and Wave (2013), Barracudas (2012), Sea Stars (2009), Surfettes (2008)
Our Fall 2022 Boys Teams: Tides and Hammerhead Sharks (2014), Makos and Kraken (2013), Stingrays (2012), Bullsharks (2010), Tigersharks (2009), Hurricanes (2006)

Our Player Code of Conduct
As a player of Long Beach FC:
If a player is found violating these guidelines in a way that is brought to the attention of the LBFC directors, either from Staff, other teams, referees, parents, etc., LBFC reserves the right to address the situation. This may include suspension, or removal from the LBFC program.
"LBFC provides a safe space for kids to learn life long skills so they can become productive members of the community!"
"A group of kids and parents I've grown up with that have become my family!"
"LBFC creates a competitive environment for athletes to develop both physically and mentally which will translate towards anything they want to become in life!"
Adults
We are a volunteer organization. Every little bit helps. If you’re already involved, thank you! If not, coach a team...become a Team Parent/Manager...help with field management...invite others out to attend our free Skills Nights clinics...help the club obtain grants or sponsorship opportunities. Every little bit helps!
Youth Development
The club has a youth development program that encourages our teens to be mentors to our younger players. These teens are taught by our adult volunteers how to help work with our intramural players as well as take on other specific club opportunities. This year we will be sponsoring some of our members to become referee's and sideline officials.
Have a question about our organization or about how we can match your specific needs? If you have a special request, ask us. Send us a message, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

1. Registration fee for each team
2. Cost for each player pass we must obtain for those teams
3. Costs per player associated with club overhead (equipment, insurance, etc.)
4. Other ancillary fees associated with player registration
