Welcome to the Long Beach FC travel program information page. Here you will see an overview of the selection process, procedures, parent costs and the club's expectations of the players.

Tryouts
- Tryouts for the following year are held in June, dates and times will be posted here.
- All tryouts are evaluated by impartial and qualified Coaches and Trainers.
- You will be notified shortly after your child’s acceptance onto a team.
Acceptance
- Please confirm within two days (48 hours) of our Club’s acceptance, your child’s participation.
- You must register your child in our system, upload their birth certificate and submit payment. This is mandatory so we can coordinate teams and league documentation prior to the season beginning.
- LBFC full season registration is for 1 year. It consists of 2 separate seasons, fall and spring. Winter and Summer soccer is up to individual coaches.
Uniform
- Uniform Fees are a separate charge and NOT included in registration costs. Player uniforms consist of (1) Home Adidas Jersey, (1) Away Adidas Jersey, (1) Adidas Shorts, (1) Pair of Home Adidas Socks and (1) Pair of Away Adidas Socks, 1 Augusta Training / Pre Match Shirt / Jersey. - New players coaches will reach out to get number requests early in the registration process.
Teams
- Your child will be assigned to a team in late August.
- Your coach will reach out to contact you and will let you know the days and times of his/her practices.
Practice, Training and Games
- Professional training fees are additional to the cost of registration and range from approximately $75 per player per season for our younger age groups, up to approximately $225 per player per season for our oldest age groups. Training costs are for the SEASON, not the year. All training costs will be detailed further by the team coaches. Costs will vary based on frequency and duration of practice time as well as the trainer's hourly rate.
- Practices and Home Games are held at the Long Beach Middle School Fields. (239 Lido Boulevard, Lido Beach)
- Games are held on the weekends and are coordinated through the leagues and Coaches.
- Your child is expected to attend all training sessions and games unless the coaches are notified in advance.
Costs
- Registration: $425 for Fall & Spring / $250 Spring Only
- Uniform: $155
- Average Training Fee: $100 per Season
Volunteers
- We are a volunteer driven organization.
- Each team should have a Coach and at least one Assistant Coach, as well as a Team Parent/Manager.
- Please contact us or let your child's coach know if you would like to volunteer.
Our Player Code of Conduct
As a player of Long Beach FC:
- I will exhibit Sportsmanship and show respect for the game, the opponent, the referees, and my teammates.
- I will be prepared and wear shin guards, proper footwear and appropriate dress/uniform to all matches, training sessions and practices.
- I will bring water to all practices, training sessions and games.
- I will arrive on time, attend practices and all training sessions.
- I will exhibit a good attitude, have fun and compete.
- I will make every effort to get to all team events.
- I will give timely advance notice to my coach/manager of my absence if I cannot attend a training session, practice or a game – at least 24 hours advance notice for a practice/training session and 48 hours advance notice for a game.
- I will refrain from using abusive and/or taunting language while at practice, before, during and after a game.
- I will support the team and other teammates by following the game while on the sidelines.
If a player is found violating these guidelines in a way that is brought to the attention of the LBFC directors, either from Staff, other teams, referees, parents, etc., LBFC reserves the right to address the situation. This may include suspension, or removal from the LBFC program.
