Open to all players U8 (2018) to U19 (2008) - LIJSL and EPD affiliations. 

As we gear up for tryouts and the 2026/2027 LBFC soccer seasons we wanted to communicate our plans to align with the current changes to US Youth Soccer. Age group formations will run from August 1 to July 31 starting with the 2026/27 fall season. To simplify, we will be following the “school year” or “grade level” system instead of the current “birth year” system.

Grade level best supports our player’s goals to play with kids in their grade at school. Players will also be able to remain on teams with past teammates.

As an organization, we will have the ability to determine the best placement for our current players, while keeping in mind individual growth and fielding competitive teams.

Current teams will see minimal changes.

• All players must be registered through GotSport. 

• Please arrive 20-minutes early for check in. Players MUST come to tryouts with and/or wearing: 

• Shin Guards - Your child will NOT be able to participate without shin guards due to risk of injury.

• Soccer Cleats - Plastic spikes only

• Soccer Ball - Size 4 (Ages 2013-2017) or Size 5 (Ages 2008-2012)

• Water
